Building Bridges: Introducing our Newest Partnership
The lack of adequate services received by victims in marginalized communities, especially communities of color, is one of many adverse effects caused by deeply-rooted discrimination in our criminal justice system. Often, members of communities of color do not feel comfortable accessing services when they experience a crime.

The Building Bridges Project, a partnership between the National Center for Victims of Crime and four Southern California Branches of the NAACP, will identify disparities in treatment and gaps in services for crime victims, particularly those in communities of color, in order to develop and implement solutions that work for those communities and the victim service providers who serve them.

Attendees of this webinar will learn about the pilot program in Los Angeles as well as the partnership between the NAACP and NCVC. This webinar will discuss the necessity of this project, it’s centering of community voices, and how you can get involved.
